The worst and only bad umpring decision I saw was when Kennedy went through about seven tackles in a row without being pinged. Should have been a shot on goal for the Dogs but instead the ball went to to the other end where the Swans scored a minute or so later.

Unlikely. If they were staging results they'd have ensured that the broadest swathe of the customer base kept reaching into their pockets, which would mean they'd have to arrange a good serving of the drought-weary teams to snaffle a not-too-obvious raft of flags over the past, say, 15 years.

Every referee* decision was correct apart from the below the knee incident that injured Hannebery. To me that changed the game into the Doggies favour.
 
Gil makes it no secret that the pre-finals bye was brought in to give the bottom of the 8 teams more of a chance. So in that respect these results are engineered. Hopefully soon we get a wildcard round so everyone from 1-10 has a chance :thumbsu: Melbourne could have been premiers this year if only for the wildcard round.
