Why are Hamas in power in Gaza? Because the moderates in Fatah lost elections.
Why is Netanyahu such a RWNJ? Because any moderate Israeli leader has limited success in the polls.
What happened after the Oslo accords in 93? What happened to Rabin?
Even going back to 1978 and peace between Egypt and Israel and the Camp David accords. What happened to Sadat?

I have nfi of a workable solution. No one does. That's kind of the point.

Protocol 1 of the Geneva Conventions makes it clear that Hamas are committing a war crime by conducing military operations using civvies as human shields. Not to mention capturing civvies as hostages which they are boasting about on TV.

The Israeli response is perfectly legally as long it remains proportionate and the low death toll in a densely populated area shows that Israel is being restrained in its response.
