I would say so, Hannan is starting on Danger. Gardner will go to Tom. Keath being off the boil with niggles and soreness leaves a hole in the defence and English has to drop back.

I know it means nothing now but I went to an inner sanctum training session when Gardner was at Geelong and him a Vardy had at least 50 balls kicked to them in a one on one contest and Vardy lost all but 1 and Gardner was furious.

He's got tremendous will which makes up for his lack of skill. He'll give 100% every time. And he's of good character.

He's been a good servant for your club imo despite being maligned.

That’s a really interesting anecdote. I know he gives his all but I didn’t think he was the ultra competitive type. Apparently Lachie Hunter is similar to that.

Gardner certainly has his critics but right now he is best 22. The thought of him on either Cameron or Hawkins is terrifying though.

When I was a kid we used to go on regular holidays down the Great Ocean Road. Passing through Geelong, my brother and I would always boo incessantly when Kardinia Park came within sight. And he didn't even like football. I can't even remember why we hated Geelong at the time, but we did.

I've been to one game at KP for one win, some time in the late 90s (perhaps 97 or 98?). I'm going to be about 17,000 km away for this match, but hope those brave souls who are there will have a similar experience.

Big occasion for Geelong down there and umpires will be up for it too as they always are down there.

Richmond have Brisbane, Port, hawks, bombers.

If we win 3 tigers need to win all 4 and Saints need to win 2 and make up percentage or win all 3
