He was a vey very gutsy player but he can't coach. The players have no confidence in each other they look sideways, backwards, diagonal ANYWAY BUT FORWARD. This sytle of play is pure rubbish. He is disgracing the NMFC with this bulsh1t football. Im sure he loves the club as much as we all do but it is time for a fresh start.

Just look at the senior players like Boomer and Grant and tell me they are with the coach. Too many players are off their natural game. You can't sack 6 players but you can change coach for an instant improvement.

I challenged a Director of the Club recently with all the rumours doing the rounds of Laidley having lost the players. He defended Laidley (as he should) and just wouldn't accept it. Talk to the players and let them tell you what many are telling others. Laidley has lost the group. You can see it on the field. This team isn't a patch of what they were last year, they play with no heart and that is shameful to the NMFC name.

Sorry Dean but it is time to go - do the right thing by the club and resign this weekend.

Don't agree with defaming the guy on a North board.

Also would hope NMFC supporters will never have to resort to Richmond style attacks on the club to change the coach.

However...

IMO the team is in tatters (even minding the recent wins), underperforms and lacks morale and direction.

So I think Dean should go. Would just hope that he and the club can come to that decision rather than supporters having to force it.

I have no doubt he puts his heart and soul into the job but on this occasion it just doesn't seem like we're going to head in the right direction with him and his coaching panel leading the club's onfield destiny.

The worst thing is that crap style continued in the last quarter. Come on Dean if you cant think of our own tactics, then your not a coach. Modern footy requires someone who has the tactical smarts, and Dean doesnt have the smarts. He just followers another coach's tactics, but didnt think, oh we have different strenghts to the tigers.

Sadly after tonight he has lost me.

That was a horrible sight to watch, Crows players picking the ball up amongst 3 Roos and running away with it. Roos chip it but fail to hit a 20m target, must have happened for 4 or 5 of their goals. Capitulation after half time.

All of this after he got so agressive and laid it on the line last week. Obviously the message isn't getting through, which means he can no longer get the best out of the group.

Unfortunately coaches live and die by their players and after tonight something has to be done, it was a disgrace.
