Vaccinated people help protect those around them, and don't needlessly clog up hospital facilities, i'd be more inclined to call the rest of our squad (and every other squad in the AFL) heroes.

Darling has had a great career and has been an excellent servant to our club, but it's not like he's the first sports person to make a decision that's tainted his career. It's a shame this is how he'll be remembered, but like you said in your original post it's his personal choice and all personal choices have consequences.

For all we know, the Eagles know what's going on but can't disclose a private medical issue?

Yes, it doesn't look great. BUT if he is truly suffering from a mental health issue (or other physical ailment), and this is affecting his vaccine decision/ability to train, surely he needs support, not widespread condemnation.

Encouraging people to have a free vaccine, in the interests of public safety isn't tyranny.

Tyranny would be forcibly injecting people with it, that isn't happening.

People still have a choice whether or not they want to have it, Jack is choosing not to.

However freedom of choice does not mean freedom of consequence. We have those same dilemmas in every day life on different scales (do I speed? etc)

Aren’t we allowed to have an opinion anymore? I know the ones living in WA have had a sheltered two years but you can’t stop a virus. Both of us had it two weeks ago and are fine. I do however appreciate that you tried to explain to me on how I was trolling but it’s not how I’m trying to come off either.

People losing their jobs over a personal medical decision is tyranny. Consequences of actions is still tyranny for a country that’s as great as ours.
