I guess Dusty hates public speaking, just like half the world. I know one thing for sure, I would've been worse than that.

It was difficult to watch Martin's speech but it all changed at that beautiful moment where he said his dad was moving down to Melbourne. It came across so honest. My Dad left when I was young and despite all the negativity surrounding that he was still my hero even if he didn't deserve to be. The applause it got was quite touching and seemed to reflect more from the people in attendance that they are happy that something positive is happening in Dusty's life rather than just playing for a football club.

Predicting he is going to have an amazing year next year.

Anyone watching that surely could see that he is an insane footy talent who is not socially comfortable at all.

Congratulations Dusty on the speech. I thought it showed courage to get through it. Those saying it was cringe worthy, ever had to speak in front of that many people yourself? Ever had to face the build up he's had to face in the last week leading to this? Not his forte obviously, perhaps we should put some of those critics (of his speech) out on the 'G in a game.

....I thought it showed great courage. Well done Dusty.
