Congrats Jacko! A well deserved winner. I wasn't his biggest fan in the last few years, he was as frustrating to me as Marty Clarke is to Collingwood fans. However I've definitely changed my tune and thoroughly enjoyed his huge development, I'm sorry I ever doubted him really.

In all honesty, yes Dusty isn't a great public speaker blah blah blah......but good on him for taking ownership of the situation....even though I still think carr is a pig.
Considering his dad is moving to Melbourne to be with him next year it does give the whole 'we wanted to talk to GWS because Dustin wanted to be closer to his family' story SOME credibility

And imagine what he has gone through in the last 5 weeks (agree or not) and all the general and social media speculation and hate. He would have been shitting bricks at the thought of being up on stage tonight. I thought he was great. The GWS thing came across as a nervous thing to say to try and play down the situation.

Wrapped his mentioning his Dad coming down got a huge cheer, that would show him we still care.

I stubbed my toe in the middle of y year 12 english oral, class laughed, so without thinking, i told them to f*ck off. Forgot i was in the middle of a presentation (head down reading off a piece of paper, you know how it is, the usual) and my teacher told me to sit down.

Yeah, I was taken slightly aback by that. Perseverance is the key. Jacko, Whitey and by the looks of things Tigga and Brando have that desire.

Congratulations and well done to Daniel Jackson! He was a frustrating player to watch in the past but now he has turned himself into an elite midfielder. He is also a very intelligent man off the field as well. I hope he carries his good form into next year.

Things I learnt for the JDM night.

Jacko. Well done mate, you've battled your self doubt (any sportsperson goes thru this, not matter what level) and got thru to finally find the mojo to be a consistant afl footballer and person. Well done.

Great speech by Dusty. Manned up greatly, owned the situation but most importantly for me gave the situation a context in which we all can understand, even if we still hate his manager, his motives. It also provided us an insight into his personal battles he has had recently.

Chappy top 3. 2 sets of match committee's cant be wrong about this bloke.
