So what there's parking around the area. Can't they walk 5-7minutes? Also original plans had parking, but not this exorbitant triple tier monster that is around 20mil in costs. They should be actually doing all the extras with what Footscray did with their space which is for super dooper player facilities. A carpark is absolutely useless to our long-term facilities and a waste of space and money. They are thinking for themselves only.
You expect players, coaches, officials and staff just ti find off the street parking on game days?

Think you need to actually think about what you are saying instead of just trying to argue a point for the sake of it

Are you serious have you seen how many parking companies are there? Google it or go to my earlier links. Game day there is closer parking at the GEE. LOL
Nonsense as you're arguing a point based on lack of knowledge in the parking available. There was parking in plans as i said earlier just not this bullshit one.

Nonsense
Players and staff all park at the grounds they are playing at regardless of ground

You think they park on the side streets and walk to the venue?

You do realise there is a massive car park 700m away from Punt Rd oval at Eastern Plaza next to John Cain Arena as well as others. Side streets lol what hyperbole it's almost impossible to park on side streets as you need local permits lol

You seem confused

We are not talking about the public

We are talking about the players, coaches and officials that always park at the venues

I’m talking specifically players and staff who currently use the car parks that will be removed
We are literally scrutinising about 10-15% of the project. Not shit canning the lot.

The issue is the triple basement for 270-280 spaces to replace the existing 110-120 or so. Players and core FT staff are fine. The + 160 is excessive for a total cost of 15 mill when they are asking members to pay under the current economic circumstances.

Build an integrated above ground car park and stop the welfare fore silvertails.

Who cares as they are human aren't they? Collingwood players and officials use the venue i stated. I'm never confused as i don't try and muddy the waters with exaggeration.

Since when do we have 280 Full time staff and players ?
It wouldn’t just be for our football operations staff on weekdays because the parks would be used for the KGI and the Bachar Houli foundations staff and relative parks for guests of those programs along with our normal staff and players on weekdays that is probably around 150 without those extra inclusions

You are just being silly now
Collingwood players and officials don’t use the public spaces

They use the private parking facilities at the back of AAMI park in between it and the pies facilities

Not all of the TIME as they often use the plaza spots as there are limited numbers. Now stop name calling and get your facts right as AAMI is often occupied with NRL and other functions nearby.

There is parking for everyone in the area and you're telling us the exact reason we're arguing about that it's for the silver tails who are too lazy to walk 5-7 min and don't want to be with the underlings . Yet the underlings are expected to pay for their comfort. All the reason why members are not buying into it.

You are once again confusing public use parking and private

“Hey Harley Reid I hear your looking to come home how about Tigerland? You’ll have to pay for all day parking a twenty minute walk away every day. Oh no you’d prefer not to do that so will instead choose any of the other clubs in Melbourne. Oh well we couldn’t bow to the silver tails so have fun at Carlton I guess”

NO as there are both options available. Collingwood and Storm do it and have to resort to public when they're filled. How do our players get inside the gee? Is their a secret tunnel from PRO to the Gee changerooms so they avoid the public?

The players and officials never park in the public areas

The MCG has private parking underneath for such use

Remember Dusty left his car at the G for like 2 months after the granny a few years ago

Collingwood are apart of the Melbourne park precinct. Hence why they park there. Our players and officials should park at Puntroad 👍

Was in the plans but believe stopped by the government. Was also a proposed station between Richmond and FSS to help on event day only. Then Richmond station is also heritage listed as well.

So how do our players get inside the Gee without seeing the public? You answered my question? So what is the difference then if they have private parking at the Gee? lol Do you understand my point.? Dusty kept his car there for 2months. lol
It's unnecessary to build the 20mil carpark is my point.
