This week we front up against Casey who are currently sitting 18th on the ladder with a 1-2 record. The Tigers will be strengthened by the return of some player both from injury as well as coming back down from the AFL side. It should provide us with a good opportunity to get back on the winners list after a strong start the season, even though we went down to Werriin the last game we were still competitive for most of the game.

The game provides another opportunity for potential MSD hopefuls in El-Nour & May to show something. While the likes of Sonsie Ryan Cumberland Koschitzke Green & Smith will look to push for senior selection.

The game will be live streamed on the AFL sites from 2pm.

good to see we rewarded ryan's 7 goals in 2 weeks by making him the main ruck so now he's less likely to kick a bag of goals in order to get a call up in our fwd line

although with the way selections are being made (kosi, banks, lefau(although lefau has stepped up in the seniors the last couple of weeks), etc.), maybe he's actually playing too well to get a call up and should focus on being mediocre to meet the standards of our side and selectors

Why are Casey 18th this season when they've always been a strong team? Is it just Melbourne losing their depth, or have they lost VFL listed players as well?
