Long term benefits far out weigh what the short term hits are. As long as it’s built with a 20-25 year vision instead of a bit part strategy. Cheaper costs more in the long run

Sad to see the old girl go but the dawn of a new era for the club
Almost seems fitting with the timing and what is going on with the team as well

Yeah it is sad, I have pictures of my grandfather in team photos in front of the stand, 3 generations have used its facilities but the club has grown and the time has come for it to go and build for the future.

Well they did have a 130 year head start. Probably good to call it even.

the redevelopment is for the mens program as well, they aren't spending $100m to not have any effect on the most important arm of the club.
