Oppo Camp Jack Ginnivan (Traded to Hawks 2023)

Just testing a scenario........ as at today I reckon there's about a 12% chance of Ginnivan playing in a premiership this year (don't worry about the maths I've worked it out 🤣)

Assume this scenario plays and Jack steps up on the dais to receive his medal....

Now (excuse the pic) - by tradition players lower / duck their head when receiving the medal

ie

So if Jack is on the dais after the big dance.....

WILL HE DUCK HIS HEAD??????

As long as the GF result doesn't come down to a decision on a Ginni clothesline in the dying seconds. That is tragically very easy to imagine.

If it gets paid.
And if he's still conscience.
You're right though, there should be a hell of a noise.
Sorry about this but sometimes duty calls......
Are we talking "conscience" or "conscious"?
You may claim that worn out excuse of auto-type.

How about Robbo’s prediction last night at the end of AFL360…. He said that Ginny will get a high contact free kick this weekend because of the media attention and that it probably won’t be from a tackle that was legitimately high contact…

Robbo is angry his Essendon Needles arent doing too well

Why does anyone listen to that guy.? Let the show go so that it (and he) withers on the vine. It is thoroughly objectionable that he gets away with every bit of anti Collingwood bias, but he is what he is. Listening to him helps him continue on his way.

AFL is so amateurish with how personal opinion is used so much in commentary and football shows , instead of analysing games.

Well, it's overdue, so fair enough.
Maybe he should get a few

Robbo is a drunken Collingwood hate campaigner - even repeating his comments is NOT in the interests of the game at large - let along Ginni and Collingwood.

Don't give the campaigner oxygen.

Look a lot of people are coming around to the view that the AFL is ultimately responsible for instigating a discriminatory campaign against Ginni.

But there is a deeper, darker issue here.

Lynch mob mentality - the stirring up of hatred against an individual and on this issue the media are totally to blame.

I have a number of Collingwood mates who can still get to games and they all report that the hatred towards the young man by opposition supporters is almost frenzy like.

Some of the vitriol that's screamed out against him is putrid.

The media are TOTALLY to blame for this.

First that knuckle dragger Cornes.

Then literally every day the commentary around this issue is about 'divisive Ginni'.

It has to stop.

The AFL have again failed in their responsibility of ensuring player safety by allowing this lynch mob frenzy by the media.

It's simple to control.

Every media outlet that runs with it gets banned.

No exception.

As for our club, close down ALL media access until the media come out with a public admission of their guilt in this matter and a public apology.

NOT NEGOTIABLE.

Defintely is something we havent seen before for a sub 30 game player. Hope Ginni has the right people around hiom and making sure he is kept in good spirits. I really admire his resilience and hope he has a good game this week.

The vultures surround him when he has a down game , oppo supporters , media , oppo players.

Sadly some of our own are not helping matters.

Disgusting.

Fair enough. Better late than never. Can’t recall the Selwoods saying they deliberately tried to get frees this way.

That was the mistake.

On iPhone using BigFooty.com mobile app
Joel has spoken pretty blatantly about it a couple of times.

Not bloody likely that will ever happen.
