Jack is one of the smartest, most skilled player I have ever seen. Would make a great captain.

I think he is underrated by our own sometimes. Especially in the big fish thread when discussing Lynch. We don't need Lynch, if we play gunston as our main key forward he will contest for the Coleman for years to come. If every bit as good as any other forward in the game, bar buddy who is on another level. Gunston doesn't have to be a "third tall" he become the 2nd tall when buddy left nd will be the 1st now that we need to move on from Roughead.
Nash, Lewis and Shoenmakers to provide support for a gunston lead forward line with Burton and Sicily to move forward if we need more star power.
Most of the 195cm 100kg forwards are liabilities when it hits the deck. Reiwoltd has carried Richmond for 10 years and is no bigger than gunners.Gunston is a freak and I love him but he's different to Lynch, Gunners isn't your 195cm 100KG key position forward.
I've yet to meet a true Hawk supporter who has underrated Jack Gunston, by others perhaps but not by us that's for sure. Jack has a unique set of skills that makes him a joy to watch. He has great vision and awareness. Sublime on field kick and an accurate set shot. Super reliable mark of the ball, even with an opponent hanging off him. Also our best shot kicking from the boundary, guy is a calculated freak. Big finals player with a proven track record. Intelligent and deliberate with his kicks. Like Burgoyne, super safe. If it's the dying stages of the game you want it in the hands of Jack or Burgoyne. The man swings both ways, limitless. An absolute certified gun footballer.I think he is underrated by our own sometimes. Especially in the big fish thread when discussing Lynch. Lewis and shoenmakers are that size so they can crash the packs.

It's amazing how much ground he and Smith and Mitchell cover every week with such high game time as wellYou know what doesn’t seem to be getting enough coverage.
I’ve noticed in the last month that at least twice he’s been mentioned for covering the most km’s in a game.
If I’m not mistaken about that, can you believe it? On top of everything else he does he is also running farther than anyone else across the ground? Just wow!

In three positionsDeserves AA this year.
And how good is it for the young guys to see him work so hard and do what it takes to win a game? Leader
I thought his game against the saints was the most dominant performance from a hawthorn player this season. We kicked 12 goals and I reckon he had a hand in 9 of them.
He is the complete footballer and a nightmare to play against
