Fair enough, it can be interpreted in a different way, but as i said above, i'm sure he will clarify what he said in both instants because foj1 is definitely someone who knows his stuff.
I trust foj1 he know he stuff but just need a bit clearer Explanation about this

Do you? Trengove has played about 5 games this year, didn't even play in the U-18s so how did you get to see him?

And don't you live in Adelaide anyway? Fly over often for TAC cup games in Victoria?

I have been following this kids progress for some time at the cannons games and read this blog with a smile.

The question is do you JK?

Maybe Jason_K at 03.34 in the morning you are a little tired or confused.

Trengove actually played the first game against Vic Country in this years U18 carnival. Also you may take note of an interesting ovservation that the Vic Country coach Robert Hyde tried a mismatch on Trengove inlast quarter with a smaller, faster guy called McKenzie. Unfortunately for Hyde and McKenzie they under estimated this kid's long arms & defensive skill's and McKenzie got busted in a huge tackle. And from all reports from recruiter's in the MCG stands that day, Trengove's tackle against Mckenzie was the contributing factor by turning the ball over and giving the opportunity for the Vics to win the game. So this effort indicate's a very competitive nature. Some in the know say he is the most competitive in this years draft.

I read so much speculation and concern (which is good) about this kid's injury in this blog, it's starting to become a humourous. IMO stick to the facts about this kids injury unless you don't actually know them. The hamstring was not even torn, not a scratch. A small section the size of you little finger nail came of the top, the top, of the fibula with a fragment (meaning small section) of bone. Totally different injury to Lloyds. This means the hamstring was not torn and is perfect. His actual knee is 100% according to surgeons report to all clubs as early as last week. Could have actually played last two games of season except for lack of fitness and the clubs choice to ensure he starts the next pre-season off ok. Also external knee injury effected nothing inside the knee as suggested in earlier post. Maybe some should concentrate and make notes on his talent rather than the injury. Maybe ask No 1 pick Jack Watts how tough this kid is as a backman or ask big Matthew Kreuzer how Trengove competes in the ruck. At 197+cm with a huge leap (and before some comment it's off his non-injured leg) he can jump higher than most and can actually palm and place the ball to the onballers rather than just tapping or punching anywhere as most young ruckmen do these days. Give the onballers a better strike rate for escape fro the square.

And for mine, in closing bring on another Joel Selwood.

Cheers ;)

Any chance of being a Pie?

In the Age today that his leg has improved quite a bit in the last 3 weeks.

He has been doing running drills but not full on training at this point.

This year the Pies and Crows if we take Swift & Trengove can snare a probable top 5 pick if not for their injuries.

How they come up after the injuries is another question?
