I reckon he'd thrive in that role on a team with strong contested midfielders. I look at Melbourne and reckon Stephenson nicely compliments their list if he plays wing and actively looks to be the back outlet at stoppages, the key is keeping him away from contested situations as much as possible, so a club that has Viney, Oliver and Petracca regularly around stoppages would help see that happenI'd genuinely like to see how he'd go at another club playing further up the ground as that line breaking wingman that he played for periods as an u/18 that really propelled him up as a top pick.
We could certainly use that style of player. He might simply not be able to play that role at AFL level, however I think it would be worth the risk.
