Wouldn't strike most people as someone who would speak so articulately about the game, considering how he plays on field; also surprised me with his interests in coaching, match analysis and list management; which is actually really exciting to see and hear. A real leader starting to emerge

Can't wait to see him back out there with what is shaping to be a ripping defensive group!

Probably a silly comment, but I wonder whether the injury and his time on the sidelines will end up being a real positive in terms of good development into a more will rounded footballer, leader and person. It would have given him a lot more time to think about the game and an entirely different perspective on the sport.

Exactly what I thought too, gave him time to sink his teeth into the off-field part of the game; which in turn you would hope means we have better structure defensively when he is back out there
