Doubt it. Wouldnt think this forum is a reflection of the majority of what the public thinks.

There’s some evidence emerging that Australians definitely feel less ‘patriotic’ nowadays:

At 5:55 in this video, no Australia Day paraphernalia at a Sydney beach:

And this poll:

2017 it was 40% celebrating Oz Day, 40% saying it’s just another day off. By 2021 (and I suspect it’s grown in the last 3 years) 53% now think it’s just a day off, only 29% are planning on ‘celebrating’ Australia.

So indisputably less ‘patriotism’ being shown. Let’s all do a stocktake of how much ‘patriotism’ we see this Friday.

And report those that refuse to participate! I believe the Herald-Sun has a hotline for this.

What exactly is the irony about the trinkety crap being made in China?

The media boiling over about it being hateful of Australia if you don't sell (or buy) it? They'll be back to hating on Chy-nah soon enough.

Just done a quick google shopping search and it’s pretty hard to find that type of souvenir made anywhere but China…
Apart from the Aboriginal flag. And the Torres Strait Islands flag.

It's not impossible. It seems absurd getting upset about people not buying plastic tat that will just sit in landfill, slowly flaking away for hundreds of years.

He’s only selling this cheap tat because there’s a dollar in it.

The way he has window dressed it is disingenuous to the extreme.
Yep. And unlike Woolworths - Drake is the one issuing a press release trying to claim the moral high ground and draping himself in cringe-worthy faux patriotism for a cheap buck, ironically claiming he's not into culture wars while partnering with the Murdoch press to do just that:

cringe-worthy faux patriotism in partnership with the Murdoch press:
What are those big yellow flags?

"Let my customers choose" - like they don't run promotions, place products specifically to direct people's attention, charge for the best shelf space...

It's doublethink to then fake outrage that other places don't sell this gear.
