Sounds to me like they are realistic and know in order to get Norths 1st pick they'll have to give something back.
Clubs weak. After all the talk about being "ruthless" to not get two firsts when clearly on years gone by thats about his worth. If their first pick was in the top 5 it might be different but after FS bids and FA Compo it'll be pick 12.

This... Pick 12 is not enough for Polly especially given the size of contract he is expected to be on and his age would probably net us a first round pick in free agency, so for them to offer the same (or there abouts) for a non-free agent is unders.
Lets get a deal done with the Saints... Pick 3 for Polec and St Kilda can have their 2nd round pick back... which effectively makes Polec worth pick 9/10 (maybe we throw in a 3rd round pick too... effectively Pick 14) which mean though that we have pick 3 to take Lucoshious or Rakine and turn them from quality juniors into average AFL players.

We’ve had a known bigfooty poster in here that is known across bigfooty for his info state north had a first on the table from the start and port was asking for first plus player.
It was rejected the next day, saying Saints had made on offer but was nowhere near North's offer.
Which is all irrelevant as Polec has no interest in going there. He's had eyes on North for months.
