Pick 8 and a future first for JHF is a huge win in my books. You’d have to hope next year’s pick is a later pick than this year’s but it’s absolutely worth the risk for a Pick 1 who’s only a year removed from his draft.
You’d have to think we’d be able to get more out of him than North would given he wants to come home and if the rumours are true that North wants to split Pick 1 (which will net the 2nd best prospect) into multiple picks then going the whole hog and giving Clarkson/his replacement a smorgasbord of picks as well as a clean slate might be really good for them.
