Compare booths first seasons and I reckon they’d be on par, jacobs had pretty decent raps predraft, and spent his whole time here spooking it up.

Jacobs was nowhere near the same calibre of player as JHF. Imagine if JHF re-entered the ND, can you see him getting all the way to pick 37 like Jacobs did?

I haven’t even followed JHF, in fact know nothing about him as have only watched a few games this year and all Port ones….but guessing from the comments here he must be pretty good.

We got nothing for jacobs.

During the 2012 season Trade Period, Jacobs requested a trade to North Melbourne which did not happen. Soon after, Jacobs announced that he would not be re-signing with Port and that he would be entering the National Draft.
In the 2012 National AFL Draft, Jacobs was taken at Pick 37 by North Melbourne Football Club.

I don't think it does. Pickett is out of contract next year. Melbourne will need to take what is offered or lose him for nothing. We will have a future first next year.

Essentially Port lose pick 8 but gain Horne Francis and bowes
