All this hatred is bringing me so much joy.
I see why Bonner may be interested. I wouldn’t say he had “slipped out of favour”, he played 17 games this year and was in decent form until he fractured his cheekbone.
He will slip down the order when others come back fit after preseason, so I can see why he may want to seek a new club.

Houston, DBJ, Farrell, Burgoyne, Burton, Bergman, Jones and even possibly Sinn can play across half back in Bonner's role.
He's a good player but the club have a gluttony of players who can play that role, so it's about time they balanced the squad a bit.
or even worse plays out of his skin first year and gets Donuts a new contract.

What i like about this more is we split 27 and obviously going to use 8 and next years first on Horney. Which means big **** you to west coast. We dont simp or waste time sitting on our arses. Should of taken the deal when it was infront of you. Now you get a third rounder or better yet PSD for us (if possible)

More likely Bonner is just a player we are willing to let go, unlike all the other names that have been thrown up.
And maybe he’s a guy who likes to play footy and happy to move, no idea though. He’d have to be happy to move if he’s traded.

God it will be good to see the north board after the trade goes through and they don’t have a Bergman, Sinn, Marshall or Butters.
