Well it was fun, but my time has run its course. Good luck guys.

If you hung around when Anthony Corrie was recruited, surely you wont skip out now.

someone get ready to call the membership department at collingwood. If this happens there will be a legends membership spot free.

Mumford or White, why not just any Sydney bigman?

I thought a couple of days ago we said we are going to develop our current fleet of talls?

Managers live using us as bargaining chips don't they? Surprised Martin didn't do our tour lol

I won't be too upset over this if he is being brought in to play the reliving ruckman/forward role that Lynch miserably failed at.

If the club plan to play White and Lynch in the same side, then Bucks and his panel should walk out now.

If Sheahan is right about Clarkson to West Coast, then I will believe this to be plausible rumour.

Sheahan spoke about the Clarkson issue before he mentioned White to Pies

His reasoning s that Hawthorn win or lose will need a rebuild in he next two years , and with Clarko only contracted for next year , if it is to be him that leads a Hawk rebuild he would need another 3 moaye 4 year contract to see that rebuild happen.

Sheahan said that West Coast want Clarkson and would offer over a million a year for 4 maybe 5 years.

I don't see this as such a bad move as long as he comes in to play lynch's role. Cloke, Reid and White is a pretty decent forward combo. Like others, just hope Shaw isn't involved in this trade. 2nd rounder would be about right.

Had 20 possies and 9 marks last weekend as the number one fwd. A bag of 4 against the Tiges and three against the Hawks and Crows shoes he has the potential to be a good pickup

If we can trade Shaw for a first round pick, I would be prepared to pass on a 2nd rounder or later for White.

Don't want anything to compromise us having three first round picks though. The medium term future projects better than our immediate future - we need to stock up for that!

I posted this thread on the Sydney forum. And it seems no one gives an utter shit. It is complete oppoisite to our reaction with Shaw planning to leave.

I am told he can play a ruck role and a second tall forward option, this could get rid of Lynch and give Reid + Cloke some space

And as others have stated, AS LONG AS this doesn't affect our compensation for Shaw.... Especially now that we have a number of suitors (bidders) for Shaw (mentioned have been Sydney, St Kilda, North Melbourne at least, and GC and GWS would surely be interested as well). Sellers market for Shaw.

Yep, happy with White as a 2nd round pick and Shaw to GWS for pick 9 or Adams as a separate arrangement.
