It was just an embittered North supporter who tried to make a buck out of his little brewery. Obviously a little green with him using JHFs likeness without his consent.

A small entity trying to create news to be relevant. True as much in business and in AFL club land.

Okay, so, in the world of norf supporters, it is not possible for any person to tell another person to stop whinging, because saying “stop whinging” or “you have been whinging too long” is whinging in itself?

That is almost too idiotic to respond to.

It's fine to tell others to stop whinging, but hypocritical when you whinge yourselves about something even more trivial.

You must have missed the point where I stated the Port whinging was about the ice-bath beer parody.

Here it is again, read it slowly this time, and you might get it.

You guys are in the jealous ex girlfriend phase of your villain arc

And you guys are crying about someone cleverly taking the p!ss out of your new girlfriend.

All the while telling us to HTFU.

Do you not see the irony?

Imagine using a guy that is recovering from cancer in an attempted comparable example.

Beyond disgusting.
The massive over-reaction proves my point and exactly what I was looking for and expected.

Some introspection from North supporters on this is needed - you think that you have perceived right to boo and bully JHF while you have no right and you are in the wrong and you can't take it.

We haven’t even played you yet, so we haven’t had a chance to boo him yet.

Introspection? You used a guy battling cancer as a poorly thought out example to win cheap internet points for your port mates you disgusting human being. Not even remotely comparable. Don’t bother replying as you clearly can’t post like a decent human.

What is your point?
Port fans want to buy beer with testicular cancer jokes on the label?

Listen this is what I said North supporters would not like it if a company tried to make money commercialising Ben Cunnington's health battle. And you wouldn't be happy for good reason.

BUT you turn around and think its fair play for a company to make money on the bullying and victimisation of a player.

This is the point that I'm making but you guys don't get it because your heads are exploding.

Norf v JHF is going to be very interesting this week, amid the current climate. Very interesting indeed.
Going to be an unmitigated fizzer, North supporters in Tassie and North supporters from Vic stopped going to Bellerive games years ago, and Power supporters never travel anywhere. Shows how much attention AFL house pay to what is going on when they decided not to schedule the game at Marvel or AO.

No because the hostility towards him was so far beyond the normal bants + booing at the first encounter that takes place when a player leaves a club.

I don't think Port posters really 'get' what this is about. It's not simply about a player leaving for another club that happens 'all the time.' (And by 'get' I don't mean understand 'truth'... I mean have an insight into the opposite perspective.)

If they truly got that this was North's first number 1 draft pick, that we'd resisted offers for pre-draft, and which North Melbourne supporters were rightfully invested in supporting as a kid to help build the club's future after previously refusing to 'bottom out', who then chucked it in after one season before his contract expired and, likely, orchestrated this pre-draft, then you'd understand the angst. You yourselves understand how good this kid can be. I think opposition supporters get it, hence the booing. It's the very antithesis of sportsmanship. You expect the number one pick to stay the course and to respect the two year contract at the very least.

It there a right to boo? Of course there is. Is it right to boo a 'poor 19 year old'? Debatable, but if it's without a certain amount of precedent, then I'd argue so too is JHF's behaviour.

Will the boo go the way of the bump, and be consigned to history?

Jacobs, Polec & Pittard of course don't count and there is as much evidence that Jacobs wanted out from day 1 as JHF.

Anyway, North booing I get to a degree but you have to remember that there are Vic neutrals booing - what's that about?
