Some good moments but some real worrying signs. We’re weak in the ruck position and we have nobody who can take mark inside 50. And when we do take a mark our set shots are appalling.

I can’t help but feel we’re a bottom 6 team.

Need to sign up Naughton long-term. Can't afford to keep his contract the way it is; he's way too good.

Forward line still a big concern, there's just nothing there.

English doesn't look ready yet, even with all the hype around him. Needs to be way stronger and more aggressive. Our midfield is far better than GC's, but they got a lot of clearances through direct taps.

Terrible apectacle tonight. Going to hold off strong judgement until we play in better conditions though.

Some positives:

1. Naughton looks an absolute beast.
2. Macrae picking up where he left off
3. Daniel really continuing to show a lot in that quarterback sweeper role.
4. Wallis looking good up forward
5. Libba the cleanest player on the ground for mine

Some negatives:

1. Poor night from gowers
2. Dunkley played out of position, didn’t get a fair crack at it
3. General rubbish skills. Couldn’t get much worse from here though.

Strange result considering we dominated 90% of the game.
Execution and skill let us down and we played in 3rd gear most of the match.

The usual suspects played well.
Lloyd did some nice things, looking fwd to seeing him in the dry weather at Marvel.
Naughton is freak.
Hayes won’t play many games this season, looks off it going by tonight’s game. Positioning was terrible, decision making also iffy.
Smith will be a gun but unless we’re hit by injuries will play most of the year in the 2’s. Looked a boy amongst men tonight.
Duryea also looked a little lost tonight, would hope he’s just adapting to another teams structures.
Fwd 50 entries still a worry. Fwds would be hating it.

I liked the fact we were the far superior side all night just letting the suns in through our own errors. It shows we’re up to it, just need to be cleaner and more clinical.
Will know more when we play at Marvel next week.

We will finish bottom 4 this year if Trengove plays in the ruck all year. He is absolutely horrid. Worst ruck in the league, JLT series or not I don't care. If Jordan Sweet shows anything that resembles ruck ability he should play ahead of Trengove
