Depends if the penalty for avoiding the test is the same as testing positive which im not sure but either way very serious.
Depends if it's true that there is a second test. There's different levels to this.

Defcon 1 - second test comes back positive to PED which shows he's not only a drug cheat but tried to get around it
Defcon 3 - there is no second drug test so they don't know if he's a PED or NPED taker
Defcon 4 - there second drug test shows NPED but not PED
Defcon 5 - the second drug test is clean

This is not as simple as "he tried to cheat the drug test".

Actually the case is as simple as that for Asada and that's the case they'll bring.

It's up to Willies (Eagles) defense to convince them of one of the other alternatives (pending the results of the other sample if it even exists).

I think what people are misconstruing here is that four years is the maximum. Like any hearing - similar to a court hearing - there are always mitigating circumstances to be taken into account.

Journalists always print/state the maximum sentence. For instance in NSW under the NSW Crimes Act (1900) Section 61 states that Common Assault carries a maximum two-year sentence. That doesn’t mean people don’t get off or get reduced sentences due to external factors.

Any danger of a statement from Willie.........

Missed all the reports?

There's also a report about what drug Willie was trying to hide.

Can't quite remember it though, I'm sure there's a source close in this thread.
User name StarvingPussy or something.

It’s a little different for offenses under the WADA code. The maximum penalty is the default. You need to show compelling circumstances for it to be reduced.

Regardless of what's happened here I will always love Willie Rioli and nothing can ever take away from what he helped deliver in 2018. I think he deserves more support from all of our fans.

If Willie tested positive for either recreational or PEDs that would have been a bigger story and surely they would have led with that, I highly doubt ASADA have planned a 1-2 combo. If he diluted an actual urine sample with spit/water/sports drink then they would still be able to detect the presence of prohibited substances.

Was Willie a little dry at the time of testing and unable to pee above the line? Had he been there for a long time? So he spat in it or poured a drink in to fill it up because he wanted to leave? If the test was conducted properly, there shouldn’t have been other liquids anywhere near the cup.

Worst case scenario is if the cup was filled entirely with something other than urine. Hopefully this supposed 2nd valid sample exists and can clear some of this up.

I think we have to be resigned to the fact he's out for four years, if he's been observed tampering with his sample by the chaperone then he's stone cold done, there's no ambiguity there with asada.

You've just thrown up a space turd son

Where does the information from a valid second test come from?

And I'm 100% in riolis corner no matter what

ill wait for the investigation to be completed before i make any judgement on rioli.

doubt hes a drug cheat. just ****ed up a moment that could ruin his career. however there are or have been far worse that got off with a lighter charge.

the ****en media are horrid. funny with the frawley thing, 14 years ago he was being crucified for being a shit coach. look what happened. this sort of things stick to you like shit. the worst thing everyone is doing now is the innuendo and the plowing of shit on himself as a person and his character. if he is convicted then he shall suffer the punishment but until then well let the investigation takes it course.

i hope the team doesnt cave in tonight cos of this. and i doubt they will
