So does Essendon. Even if they don't think that way.I expect it'll get done, just pointing out if it doesn't, its not about Essendon 'holding him to his contract', Daniher has an obligation until he doesn't.

Hmmm....5 straight swap is my guess. Doesn’t make sense for Sydney to offer more.
It appears I did so.
Hmmm....
If they give 5 for Joe and accept 8 for Papley that’s good business.
Not sure if Dodoro will allow it though.
Joes had one good year followed by two injury ravaged ones.Put the pipe down.

Just like to point out that if Joe stays at Essendon in 202 and the Swans do come calling for his services again, we have every right to match the offer in front of Sydney.
With such a bulging salary cap, it likely won’t be a godfather deal we couldn’t afford and as such would need to have a trade sorted to satisfy us or enter the draft.
Take it or leave it but we will get fairly compensated as even though I don’t like the bloke, Adrian Dodoro is the master negotiator.

He won’t and Sydney have got Joe to nominate them, he wouldn’t do that without an undertaking they’ll do “whatever it takes” to make it happen.Hmmm....

With pick 14 coming back, that ended up being Gresham. The fantasy that it was pick 5 alone for Carlisle still continues.Joes had one good year followed by two injury ravaged ones.
Prestia was pick 6. Carlisle pick 5. Pick 5 is a decent return for an underwhelming talent.

It was from us.With pick 14 coming back, that ended up being Gresham. The fantasy that it was pick 5 alone for Carlisle still continues.
It's the Trump effect. One thing I will give Dodoro - he's managed to oversee Essendon's list management for nearly two decades of dismal failure (he had essentially nothing to do with 2000) and not only miraculously keep his job, but even get people on the internet to call him a 'master.
That is some dark magic.
Who else would it be fromIt was from us.

We didn't give you pick 14.Who else would it be from
Yet they still got Gresham. It was from us.
I don't rate Dodoro at all.Yet they still got Gresham.
But cherry picking trades is really a stretch, his run has to be looked at in totality. One that hasn't been productive.
Coz that would show Joe (and his teammates) what happens when you want to leave.Just like to point out that if Joe stays at Essendon in 202 and the Swans do come calling for his services again, we have every right to match the offer in front of Sydney.

Daniher + a future 2nd for 5 + 9
It's such a toxic circle jerk between him and the Essendon media coterie. They talk him up, he does his thing, which allows the media to talk the team up, which puts pressure on the coaches and players.Apparently he’s the best.
