That’s not even getting into his personal life and criminal record.
Someone with an economic brain like Paul Keating needs to interview Trump, but Trump would walk out after 5 minutes, if that.

He did a multi hour, unscripted conversation. Saint Kamala could never...
It makes no sense only if you've never watched proper interviews before. If a host asks good, probing questions, then you are more likely to see a side to a guest that they may prefer not to be seen. You may be able to show them as out of touch, not working in their constituents interests, or even a complete fraud like Trump.
Now, you can argue that's not Rogan's purpose, but then it's not really credible to use his show either way.
