when they're playing him in the forward line and his getting 30 pos and 3 goals if that doesnt warrent selection im sorry but terry wallace is an absolute toss ... paying no respect what so ever to a player whos carried their club through tough times and kept the crowds coming to the footy, if it wasnt for him and richo no one woulda rocked up to the games

Terry Wallace yesterday I believe...

Wallace said he was pleased with the mix of youth and experience in the senior line-up at the moment and didn't envisage the prospect of many changes this week.


That suggests veteran defender Joel Bowden and forward Kayne Pettifer, who bagged five goals for Coburg at the weekend, are likely to remain in the VFL for the time being.


"It's not about what players do offensively, it's about what they do defensively that will be the determination about getting back into the side," Wallace said.

Tigers are going really good without him. I don't see why Wallace needs to bring him back in.

They leaked 130 points and lost a game they should have won, I wouldn't call that good.

They lacked the 'defensive pressure' that Wallace is after.

I have spent two weeks telling myself that I should keep Bowden, he will come back into the team and score like the good old days.

Last week I scored a late withdrawal (Kennelly) so keeping Bowden ended up costing me a 0. It is almost getting to the point where I do a sideways trade of Bowden to P Burg and almost treat Bowden as a long term injury trade.

I keep thinking this is a stupid idea, I may just do a sideways cash cow trade instead, SD Thompson -> Pears or some other rookie. (Ibbotson?)
