I am flabbergasted that Jordan Clark is valued the same or greater than Callum Coleman-Jones.

If we're looking at converting players to wingers what's Clark got that Brandon Walker, Michael Frederick or Liam Henry can't provide. All have pace to burn.

We've traded out a fair few second rounders as part of these Lobb, McCarthy, Hogan and Wilson trades with not much to show for it and our recruiting team is reasonable.

How many reserves games did Tucky and Dipper each play?

Im sure players who started at age 15 about 40 to 45 years ago has a lot of relevance to here.

The comparison would be against other top 20 draftees from the 2018 draft and what sort of opportunities they are getting and what their change in value would be.

And yet, we're going to end up with more. Seems pretty reasonable to me.
Yes, you very well may do indeed. However, when you don‘t trade in “good will” and shift the goal posts, there’s a tendency that you pay more down the track one day.

Can you imagine ever making a play for Sean Darcy one day? I wonder how Freo will deal with you guys? Move the goal posts at random, and no good will to reciprocate? Tell Sean he may have to see out his contract, etc.

What goes around, comes around.

How on earth is this trade still dragging on?

Cats being unreasonable if a straight swap for 22 is on the table considering the bloke is yet to prove anything at the level.

Considering some on your board are asking for a second for a 30 year old Ceglar...you might want to pipe down.

The last time Sean Darcy was rumoured to be being courted by the Cats for a move home he was so angry about it he told his manager to extend his existing contract for the following year until free agency, wham bam, done in a week.

Considering half your list are held together by masking tape and need to be home by 4:30 for the early bird special, Cats have bugger all bargaining strength when all their eggs are in one basket for next year.

This has literally nothing to do with the argument, and makes no sense whatsoever.

How are we 'putting all our eggs in one basket' when we're trading out Clark for a draft pick? We're only getting Ceglar in because we need to replace Fort who Brisbane want, and then we're picking up Stengle as a DFA and taking the rest of our picks to the draft - whatever they end up being.

You may think you came across as 'clever' with your 2748495939th iteration of 'Geelong's list is old' joke, but really you just sound like a moron.

Take your little Geelong v Hawthorn rivalry mindset elsewhere - the adults are talking.

What a headline...

"Sean Darcy Signs impromptu contract in rage over a rival club showing interest in securing the highly talented ruckman."

There is zero chance that Sean Darcy was offended that he was courted by Geelong and even less chance that he rushed through a contract extension such was his disdain for the interest. If you think that he and his manager had not been quietly going about organising this extension and that the decision had anything to do with any rumoured interest - you are in la la land.

Do you need him to tell you to your face?

He was storming around the training base huffing and puffing about Sumich suggesting it then as soon as the bye week came up he extended his deal.

It's on video with him explaining the process and how fast it was, they turned it around in a week.

So a bit of confusion here. The anger from Darcy's was directed at one particular journo on twitter who was spreading rubbish about Darcy actively seeking a trade that year when in fact he was doing the opposite.

it may very well have been done in a week but it has nothing to do with him being disgusted at interest from the cats. Every chance he didn’t like the media speculation but your post is drawing an incredibly long and unrealistic bow.

yeh that was widely reported. Suggesting it was anger at the cats interest (if there was interest) was way off the mark.

I'll let him know your opinion on it next time I see him.
