Not sure if you are joking?

But if you comparing the bolton thing to a serious sexual assault involving trauma that is pretty off colour.

Are you seriously suggesting the girl suffered a genuine sexual assault but the afl decided to fine bolton 20k and the cops just let it all go?

Sorry - but this nonsense is disrespectful to serious sex assault victims.

Pull your head in. Just because you like some footy players from your team doesnt mean you can invent some ridiculous to tale to make out they are a hero.
Once again, ask Rioli's GF if she felt menaced, and ask the 35yo woman in NY if she feels she is a victim of sexual assault.

If they are happy to trivialize, that's fine, but you trivializing it on their behalf...just..wow.

As for blokes who intervene when a girl is being menaced being heroes..maybe minor ones. Certainly is a brave act and should be lauded.

Not an answer sash boy… I take it as read that now I can say anything and expect a slap from you just because….
You people who have nothing to say in response ….be ready for another ‘earful’…:fire:
just go back to planning your incel mens rights rallies against the hordes of women falsifying sexual assaults against the poor old innocent men like degoey who never did anything wrong

I posted links with examples of men who've been r*ped by women. You said that it was possible for men to stop it. That's what I find not only bizarre, but indicative of sexism and victim shaming.

There's an element of truth to what you say, but it's hard to take you seriously when you refuse to accept certain aspects of reality.
Were these men upright and conscious in a public place?

as a general comment, women can rape men, and not just when theyre unconscious. to say thats not possible is just silly, there are plenty of vulnerable men and overpowering controlling women.

but the vast majority of rapists/sex assaulters are men. and most men who are r*ped, are r*ped by other men.

Men are not afraid of being r*ped by women. They report based on their experiences not whether its technically possible for it to happen. I have never been, or met a guy, afraid of being sexually assaulted by a woman. I have never been with a group of men where a guy reporting being groped by a girl wouldn't have been absolutely sh*t canned by all and sundry as a compete wimp.

I know plenty of woman afraid of being sexually assaulted by men, I know women its happened to.

To expect that men and women should react the same, or be expected to react the same in this situation is just bizarre.

LEGALLY, it is the same thing. In the eyes of society, it is not.

This is why it is impossible for male victims of sexual abuse at the hands of a female or male victims of family violence at the hands of females to receive either empathy or support. It will forever remain either a joke or simply a topic unworthy of discussion let alone acknowledgement or action. Boys are r*ped and abused by women. But we call it an affair or his lucky break.

I don't care if a man isn't afraid when a woman grabs his genitals or arse. I don't care if a man feels threatened or humiliated when a woman initiates unwanted sex and expects him to respond. The fact is if a footballer patted a girl on the backside she too would be most likely be annoyed or offended rather than terrified yet that would make no difference in the yes of the law. The man would lose his job if it was a workplace incident and the girl chose to complain. In the exact same situation with genders reversed the woman would most likely not be charged or lose her job. Since when did the emotional response of a victim to a crime have bearing on the outcome with regard to the law?

Men and boys rarely speak up or come forward because they know the response to their complaint will be mockery and derision as you suggested. Women can and do physically and emotionally harm men. It is a fact. But there is no hope of the double standards ever changing. When a sleeping man has his penis severed by an angry, jealous wife-this always becomes the subject of jokes on the radio and in the media even when a real, living human being has had their life destroyed by an evil violent woman. I have seen this very thing happen in Australia nd America on numerous occasions. If a sleeping, innocent man can have his genitals hacked off and still receives zero compassion you begin to have an understanding of the contempt most people have for male pain and suffering.

Cue the rage for a poster daring to suggest male abuse is also wrong and just as evil as the abuse of females. My son and daughter have both been viciously assaulted on the streets of Melbourne and both will carry the scars until the day they die. My wife and I shed tears for both of our kids. That seems quite a normal reaction yet when a male we don't know is abused or harmed by a female it is dismissed as a joke or of little concern.

I abhor any sexual abuse or violence but sadly our society only ever focuses on one form of abuse.

This poster says it all.

Gotta love the sex pests in here outing themselves. So some dickhead women slap men's butts that gives creeps license to slap any and every women's butt? Even a child understands that two wrongs don't make a right. Does this logic apply to every crime? Some people get away with assault, theft, murder so that makes you less morally culpable if you decide to do the same?

If you're a man and a woman ever assaults you, go ahead and report it to the cops, you'll have my full support. If your mates make fun of you for it, get better mates. But don't use that garbage behaviour as a defence for more garbage behaviour.

Jeez he’s made Collingwood and the AFL look pretty poor a few times now.

Still can’t get over when they had him parading on Friday night footy the week after he’d been charged with sexual assault.

To think the freakin NRL are ahead of you on things like this with their no-fault stand-down rule is amazing.

Anyway, seems they’ve kinda learnt given he is stood down this time.

No offence but that is some mens rights bullshit right there. Sure there are issues in society for men, some disadvantages, but statistically speaking women have so many more disadvantages than we do, so perhaps we should be trying to fix their disadvantages instead of trying to imply it is just as hard being a man.

For instance the assertion in your photo of male and female circumcision being equivalent is at best ill-informed and at worst pretty disgusting. I don't particularly like male circumcision as I don't believe a baby should have to go through an unnecessary procedure but a circumcised baby can still grow up and have a normal sex life. Female circumcision is all about making it so women can't grow up and have a normal sex life, all about making sure those "sluts" can't enjoy having sex.

The court will consider what DeGoey did to the women and to the bloke who might be the women's boyfriend.

Professional moron J DeGoey has been officially charged by the NYPD with forcible touching.

The Herald Sun has reported that even if DeGoey accepted a six year probation for forcible touching, a charge which carries a maximum one year jail sentence, it would be categorised as a sex crime..!

If you think the above sounds a bit dramatic, it is. It's just typical media promoting a sensational headline with the worst outcome possible without any context or reality of the 'probable outcome'.
Which will likely be, in summary - unless there is distinctive CCTV footage or verifiable witnesses of the offence, then an out-of-court settlement will be the result...

What is not in Mr. DeGoey's favour however is, litigation is almost a hobby for our friends in the USA. His alleged victim may likely also claim a list of her emotional and/or tangible consequences related to the alleged offence...

NB. if it hasn't taken place already, Mr. DeGoey will also need to surrender his passport, which shall only be returned upon the conclusion of this matter.

He was in a club, surrounded by hundreds. There is a very high chance there was security footage of the incident and a few dozen witnesses too.

I’ve asked for links previously supporting your version of the Bolton/Rioli events but you have not supplied them.

You shouldn’t be making up tales either.

Having been on the other end of one of these, the cameras are rubbish and the crowd just gets in the way

I hope you are wrong in this case.

Sexual assault is something we really need to talk about more as a society as well. It is scary thinking about just how many women (and men) who are sexually assaulted and the people responsible get away completely scot-free.
