Gawd - now they're starting threads about us. It seems they have some sort of obsession.

I reported the post, let's see if that has an impact.

Almost as bad as a Collingwood poster, that has proven to constantly make up stories and claim they're from his "sources" , saying Jordy beat up someone with autism shortly after his drink driving incident.
Some how that certain poster seems to get a free ride.

Unfortunately people are going to make up these rumours as long as there are no ramifications.

A free ride probably isn't the right term. But he made up/passed on an incredibly defamatory rumour without any real repercussions. Yet come trade period, he'll pretend he has some inside word on what's going to happen and some poor souls will lap it up.

You just have to sift through all the bs and figure out for yourself who the legit posters are I guess.

Fair enough too. Unsubstantiated bullshit like that shouldn't be posted in the first place and it certainly shouldn't last on any site for more than a few minutes. While I understand mods are busy volunteers with their own lives etc I'm also not surprised it's still up 1 hour later given their board is a lot more free and bogan (just look at the slang terms used for other teams for example).

De Goey could have played last week: Buckley

Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley has provided an update on injured Pie Jordan De Goey, stating that the club has taken a cautious approach with his recovery.

De Goey missed last week’s clash against Richmond with bone stress in his lower leg and after initially being ruled out for two weeks, there was talk he could miss the remainder of the season.

However, Buckley revealed De Goey could have indeed played last week, but the risk for significant injury was too high.

“We’ll assess that after this weekend,” Buckley told SEN's Whateley.

“Our initial plan was to have him back and we were proactive in resting him.

“He could have played but we just don’t know what the repercussions of playing last week and this week would have been.

“The worst case scenario was pretty bad so we take the hit early and see if we can get him up for the back end.”
