I can understand and sympathise with saints fans looking to get a top 10 pick compo for Josh as if anyone had to trade for him, that's what it would take to trade him in. But, this has and should have no bearing on what Hawthorn offer for him in regards to the band 1 that saints want.
Going to be a sad day for the Saints fans unfortunately
No one should get anything, for anyone. Compensation is a joke and can never be fair.No one should ever get top 10 picks for spud defenders.
From this year onwards!
Not less than he did earn, but less than he would’ve earned if he stayed.Didn’t Morris say he will be earning less than he did at St Kilda?
Going to be a sad day for the Saints fans unfortunately
You know that you got Band 1 right? But because you won the flag it was pick 19?I could care less what St Kilda get as compensation for Battle, because it will be a lot more than Hawthorn got for Buddy.
Such a shit system. We should of got **** all for Buddy and so should any team that loses a free agent. You know that you got Band 1 right? But because you won the flag it was pick 19?
If Battle nets Band 2 (which is likely) it will be exactly what Hawthorn got for Buddy
Hurry up and sign the ting.
It's been logged, compo should be out in an hour.
I assume it will be band 1.
Why?
Herbs and spicesCalled it. Just like McKay.
