In 2 games he is showing what Tyler Brown should be doing
24 touches today —-all of them kicks too
A goal to boot
Strong second game coming without the physical preparation either

In his 2nd game (horrible conditions):

24 disposals
24 kicks
8 contested possession
6 clearances
450 meters gained
1 goal

60% game time.

He was incredible.

Your perennial WHE hatred along with your wish for Pendles’ retirement about an Olympiad ago is forgiven. Your early love for Carmichael appears justified.

WHE hatred is justified. I’ll stand by it.
Pendles wasn’t a retirement call! Just more so a different role, which he has assumed now. He’s a champion.

JC will be very good.

Cmon pal - you were calling for a change in Pendles’ role before his last All Australian. WHE still playing his role. Don’t discount his aerial contests today - although his dropped chesty in the first was a howler. His ball use is still elite.

I can't be the only person who chuckled that Ablett Snr was the last person to have so many kicks without bothering to dish off by hand.

Why handball to mere mortals?

I chuckled when they mentioned 15 goals between them. Ablett and I had 14 between us…

He was strong in the last quarter.
After a shaky first quarter too. I liked the way he worked his way into a strong display in clearances and general play. We really need another big bodied midfielder and got one for a bargain basement price.
