He finds the goals well. His goal today was two steps from a receive at the back of a clearance and under pressure.

A very nice first goal!
He has future best 22 all over him. His attack on the ball, ability to maintain his feet in a tackle and thumping kick all make my mouth water.
How can you not strip away the errors a kid in his second game makes and see the bigger picture of his temperament, hardness at the ball and powerful leg?

After a shaky first quarter too. I liked the way he worked his way into a strong display in clearances and general play. We really need another big bodied midfielder and got one for a bargain basement price.

His disposal was horrible early on but that in particular is what I thought noticeablely improved in the course of the game.
