Judd deal done tuesday

The deal for Judd will be over by tuesday, the coasters will not have their hands tied at the trade table like everyone thinks.
What do you think then?
Carlton are going to give up no.1 pick?
It's going to be Kennedy + pick 3....there is a thing called a telephone they would have been discussing it since Judd chose Carlton.
yep, would like to see this get over and done with, because i have a feeling no other trades can be done until this one is over with.
and west coast won't be bullied into a little corner by carlton, they'll field the best offer because judd isn't one of "us" anymore, if it means losing him in the PSD, so be it.
Ofcourse West Coast will be talking to more than one club on Monday because every club has to talk to each other for a minimum of five minutes on the Monday of Trade Week. It's only from Tuesday to Friday when clubs can decide not to talk to certain clubs.

It's under the odds but there's no way the Eagles will pass on pick 3 especially, as well as 20 and Kennedy. Pick 3 could well be the best pick in the draft, you never know. Judd was in 2001. Cutting off their nose to spite their face would be dumb and won't happen. To pass on that and get nothing might be EGM material. They won't field other offers becuase Judd has to agree to the trade. As you've seen by this morning's article, they're weakening on their stance.
you make a good point on pick 3. Last year gibbs was clearly the one everyone wanted but now it is possible there could be a good half dozen as good if not better. Especially when we are talking about a skinny developing kpp in kruezer. Josh Fraser was clearly the standout when he was drafted and while we at collingwood still rate him as a very good player he is hardly in the game elite. Even with pick 1 there are no great certainties.

No, you won't.
Letting Judd go to the PSD would tarnish WCE's reputation forever. It would make them look like absolute morons for a very long time.
Bwahahaha, it would not tarnish WC's reputation. It is hardly like your bid is setting the world on fire. It could set a good example to any other players that decide to leave, if you chose one club, you may end up rotting away at Richmond.

it won't tarnish the Eagles reputation. Just an incredibly stupid move when you could get pick 3 in the draft, possibly the second best kid in the country.

Sorry but where not trading for Lance Whitnall.
Judd won't just rot away at Richmond. Carlton will trade Pick 3 to Richmond for Pick 18 and Richmond will promise not to take Judd in the PSD. That way Carlton only give up Pick 3 for Judd, they keep Kennedy, and Pick 20, they recieve Pick 18, and W.C get shit all

Go to a betting agency and ask them if they will allow you to put money on pick 1 going to WC, and put $20,000 on it.

Excpet Judd does not want to play for Richmond. They weren't even one of the four original clubs he shortlisted. If West Coast try to trade with Richmond then Judd will probably refuse and opt for the PSD.
West Coast either accpet the offer of 3, 20 and Kennedy/Bower or they lose Judd to PSD.
If Judd goes to the PSD Richmond would be foolish to draft someone who does not want to play for them and give them a million dollar contract in the process
