2 weeks after Julie was pursued in her car.
3 weeks before Julie went missing.

Alleged witness that I spoke to who described the perpetrators at Cottesloe reckons he saw the smaller of the two outside a hotel in which he was working at another time, and a few minutes later a female employee running back into work describing an attempted abduction in the carpark as she was leaving.
He reckons it was around this era.

I did find 2 publications confirming that SS and JR were last seen alive only hours after Claremont Speedway events and 1 facebook post confirming a Claremont Speedway Event finished only hours before CG was last seen alive.
I'm yet to confirm the Karrakatta attack on 12/2/1995 was preceded by a Claremont Speedway event. It is possible, because some special event series were held on Saturday's in addition to the usual Friday Night events. For example.

I'm yet to check the Speedway Dates in Kalgoorlie to see if an event was held prior to or on Friday 8/10/1999
I'll need the dates of any other alleged attacks to narrow down searches of other speedways.

I just finished listening to the Night Driver about Janine Vaughan who went missing from Bathurst where the Mt Panorama speedway is on.. there are a few disappearances here relating to speedways..

Bathurst is actually a street circuit which are public roads when they are not racing so Janine Vaughan disappearance isn't specifically related to a speedway.

Dorothy was attacked three weeks before Julie went missing, this transcript from an old file.

28May88 - The 44 year old women had left Clouds Nightclub at the Sheraton, crossed Adelaide Terrace and got into her car on Hill st when at 1.05am man wearing driving gloves came from nowhere, like lightning and wrenched her out of her car by her hair.
What followed was such a systematic & sadistic bashing that police were to find clumps of her hair the next day amongst blood and pearls from her necklace he'd torn from her neck in his frenzy of pulverizing blows.
She believes he's in his 20's-30's.
He snarled "you stupid **ing *, you're going to die, you're going to die" over and over again, the words never changed.
He ground the abrasive palm into her face, Repeatedly punching her in the mouth. He bashed her against a brick wall, dragged her to a span of metal poles and beat her like a doll against them. He dragged her across the street into a courier car park, flung her face down and stepped on the base of her spine. He punched her kidneys and ground her face into the ground. Her bladder and bowels gave way.
He pulled her arms behind her and wrapped them in parcel tape stolen from the couriers. He tied the cummerbund from her dress around her mouth and then taped her ankles.
She thought she was about to be r*ped, instead he kept running the sticky tape around her until she was wrapped like an egyptian mummy, a cocoon.
He heaved her into the metal bucket seat of a small yellow car, possibly a toyota, when she heard the radio DJ say it was 3.45am.
She was thrown out of the car at Centenary Drive in Wilson where he ground her face into the blue metal, said "right ***** your dead" & threw plastic sheeting over her.
She listened to the car drive off, pulled the tape off and was found by a Swan Taxi driver who took her to Mount St Hospital.

She's wrapped like a mummy, but then just 'pulls the tape off'???

In 1988, probably the only evidence they could get from a car was fingerprints. Perhaps they might have been able to match a blood sample to a blood type.

My thoughts have always been that she got out of her car with her hand bag to meet some one or go some where and was accosted when she was outside her car. Either walking away or coming back to her car. That is why none of her personal belongings (shoes, hand bag etc) were found in the car. JC could very well have gone to the Casino (some have suggested) and have been accosted in the casino car park and that is why she was not seen there.
Or she could have been accosted
*Whilst walking from her car to her apartment.
*When getting a late night burger.
*Meeting an unknown boyfriend/lover.
But I dont know why they would put her car in the ocean. Were they crazy, drunk or on drugs??

It’s a tentative date for the inquest…. They’ll review evidence, call witnesses and try work out what happened.

That's great news, we'll hear whatever evidence there is that hasn't made press yet and get an idea of whether the items found in the Kebab shop were hers or not.

It was upside down which is why there was so much damage. Some pictures here. Also a lot of discussion on this board and pictures from about the 2018 timeline when they released more pictures.
