I think it’s more that the AFL can afford to enforce those rules. Im sure the SANFL and WAFL would love to stop that if they could.
NBA: Both teams -- Oklahoma and Memphis -- came out in their white gear. I don't think the game started until one team changed

Or all blue. More than enough contrast between both full kits without the need for white shorts.

I think in the case of two shades of blue, white shorts or a clash jumper should be used.
Would they clash though? One is a light strip, one is a dark strip.

I was just thinking with all the Memphis v OKC kerfuffle this week all the AFL dinosaur supporters who would have come out saying "What's the problem? If you can't tell them apart, get your eyes checked!"

Pretty sad that the first two games have both had completely unnecessary stuff ups. Each of the away teams have perfectly acceptable clash strips that improve the contest.

Which sponsor's logo is on the back of the Dees singlet. Hope they're not paying too much for it, because you can barely make it out. Great for the aesthetic of the strip though
Totally agree Bunk. That guernsey actually now has a permanent place in our hearts after that day. We should've been wearing it last night, no doubt.

Why are the cats in white shorts? Finding it hard to tell which is the home team here.
The key is to look and see which team is first or left on scoreboard

Even though the teams have similar colours, the uniforms in the Collingwood / St Kilda game worked perfectly well both at the ground and watching the replay.
Dark back / white numbers vs light back / dark numbers should be mandatory for all games.
