I take my glasses off and look at the TV. I can easily tell the teams players apart.
Lions white kit would be better, but this is fine.
Carlton v Collingwood is fineBy this logic, Carlton and Collingwood shouldn't wear their home kit when they play each other! Madness!
The crazy thing is Brisbane literally have 4 different jumpers. Maroon, Red, Yellow and White and none really work, but I reckon Red (Fitzroy) with Blue shorts could work? Even with 4 different coloured jumpers a 5th one Blue or Navy would be best. The great thing for Brisbane is they all look great and the all instantly look like Brisbane, because they’re all the same.
Cats should rightly get the white shorts. They are normally quite cooperative with this.Wonder if they'll plonk us in white shorts against a white team next week
Geelong in white shorts with us wearing Maroon would be ideal visually.Cats should rightly get the white shorts. They are normally quite cooperative with this.

You'll be wearing Fitzroy colours hopefully.Geelong in white shorts with us wearing Maroon would be ideal visually.
They did 2 years agoYou'll be wearing Fitzroy colours hopefully.
The only coloured shorts we have is Maroon, wish we had either red or blue shorts to wear for away games. They did 2 years ago
But with white shorts because we had blue on
I do wonder though if that was due to Brisbane only ever wearing the Fitzroy jumper in away games and therefore only have white shorts to go with it.
Every photo I can find of Brisbane in that jumper, they have white shorts on
If the GF is Syd v Brisbane could be terrible.
Other three potential match ups are fine
I agree, personally wearing our home kit against the Cats is the better option regardless of it being played in Melbourne. The game being played in Melbourne is moot. Besides, the full home strip will provide the best differentiation for the match and without having to wear white shorts.
The AFL just needs to assign it - Geelong home guernsey, white shorts, and Brisbane Lions home guernsey, maroon shorts. Even footy supporters try and complicate this shit, saying Brisbane should wear their Fitzroy strip. They do the Fitzroy thing very well during the season, as do Sydney. This is a freakin major final and they're Brisbane Lions.
Home uniform with the dark maroon would have made more sense against GWS's orange.Prob needed to wear the fitzroy jumper as the best option
As long as Lions are in Maroon shorts it doesn’t matter. Why do Geelong wear their blue shorts in home games against Brisbane, but white against most other clubs?

Blue as their clash "cool colour" makes the most sense, rather than using warm colours like yellow when they already have red and maroon uniforms as their warm colours. The crazy thing is Brisbane literally have 4 different jumpers.
