Just wondering...

Nothing more than wondering here... but during last weekends game, and seeing Judd moved up forward for a spell...

Imagine Judd had spent most of his playing days as a full forward. With his explosive pace do you reckon he would have made a top leading forward? I know if he was a full forward there would be a lot of his skills wasted, but he does have the upper body strength to outmark opponents, and can explode of the start to take the leading mark. Would he be kicking bags of goals every match?

Has anyone else thought about this?

I think Judd could've been a successful forward, but as you stated a lot of his skills would be wasted.
Later in his career he may follow in the footsteps of Ricciutto and Buckley and make the forward line and permanent hunting ground.

i agree with you there totally becuase he is born to be a centreman and thats where he should stay and anyways how are we going to get the ball to our forward line if judd isn't a centreman

Yeah true, but i wasnt specifically thinking of playing at West Coast, it was more in general how well would you think he would do as a full forward, if the supply was good.

He has played forward a few times and hasn't really set the world on fire. Would be interesting to see him develop himself as a forward as he gets older, but he's got a few more years to spend in the midfield yet.
