didn't look great when the heat was on in the first quarter but good on him for kicking 4 goals in the end.

If they play the hawks and he plays well then Sydney probably wins, if he doesn't the Hawks defence might be too much for the swans.

I do lol at people saying "he is only good at standing near the goalsquare and taking marks".

Err, when the Swans play fast long footy (and mostly on the small ground of the SCG) and have Buddy roaming the 40-70 meter distance, they don't need him to do anything else.

Stresses coaches to no end with his marking, let alone getting McGlynn, Cunningham, Jetta, Goodes around his feet...

He doesn't need 15 disposals and 20 hitouts to be effective for Sydney.

However, as above, he does need to be on the field.

Having Tippett is like having a 150k Mercedes as a back up car

Buddy is the Ferrari and you use him the most, but it's reassuring to know you've got a quality ride sitting back doing 500ks a year

That makes Tom Mitchell the 100k gold plated Segway that you park in your garage just to piss off the neighbours.

Would have to be the highest paid for actual return.

Takes the odd mark, kicks the odd goal, provides a contest.

But at a million or year if that's true, I doubt there's ever been a more overpaid player.
What do you think now Gav?
