You still haven't named these radical policies which Walz has implemented which will scare these "centrists" off.

Exit Polls conducted by Fox on election night 2020. I repeat, FOX:

When given the policies without any party bias the majority of the US public line up with Walz, Bernie, AOC and the squad.

His obsession and inferiority complex about crowds - there's no photos of a million people at your event because it never happened you deranged orange bloat!

Having said that, I really hope he goes off on some crowd rants in the debate/s. Harris should throw some reference in there - he'll get triggered and wander off in his mind, to the fountains and Lincoln and Washington... 🤪

Yep just a few sly jab to get him riled up

Dont get your interpretation. Those polls align with moderate democrats. They even align with some moderate republicans.

He just seems like a decent person. Which is a nice change I spose.
Decent person + Government = Socialism.

It's true, and it's also an attack by conservatives.

I don't think conservatives would be able to tell you the difference between "everyone is better off" and socialism".

I think conservatives believe that their purpose as conservatives is to keep poor people poor relative to themselves so that they know they're superior.

Does anyone know what harris policy agenda will be? How it will differ from Bidens? What are the key issues she wants to focus on?
I think she'll go low-target and stick very closely to Biden's policies which are working quite well. Let the record speak for itself. They're not going to lose because the Republicans come up with better policies than them, nor based on the record of Biden v Trump. Harris will have to align herself closely with Biden's policies to be able to claim its successes, so doubt there will be a lot of deviation.

My guess is that they'll be re-wording them, but they'll be essentially the same.

How does that even work? I should put my life savings on the line with 50 percent on each and then im guarantted to make money.

Has the bookie drunk the kennedy bathwater?
probably have some sort of betting limit per account
or freeze out if you bet on one then try to bet on the other

actually just thought of a third, dynamic odds ie the odds you buy at now are not what you are paid...

I know its a pipe dream but I still believe there are a smattering of Republicans who want to see the end of Trumplicans

Something along the lines '' we are willing to work with Republicans who want change , real change from the divisive politics over the last decade and work towards a better America ''

MABA!

There definitely are. Not just a smattering. Probably 20% of registered republicans and all actual swing voters want a Republican Party which offers real options.

And if/when she wins will the Mango Mussolini accept the loss gracefully, congratulate the new president and quietly retire from public life?

Mango Mussolini. Brilliant.

Haha damn, got me. Thought it was real until I got to taxes on couches, my bad :$

Yeah I think that’s a step too far. Leaving a tip should suffice.

Taxes on couches is the only real tell for me.

Otherwise it's all within the realms of possibility.

There's something about that side of politics that's downright nasty.

It reminds me of what O'Brien tells Winston Smith in Orwell's 1984 - about in the future there is no joy, curiosity or love, even of life for its own sake. Just lust for power and the pursuit of it. That the future is a boot stamping on a human face forever.

(Its similar here with the Lib/Nats.

Once upon a time the Liberals ended the White Australia Policy, enabled the 1967 referendum, supported asylum seekers in boats and even implemented Whitlam's Land Rights legislation. Its almost impossible to believe that when you think about their leaders this century.)

They have such a bizarre name now that doesn’t fit at all. It’s a total oxymoron.

nekminnit '' the only real poll is Election Day ''
To be fair, this is true. Things are trending well, and I'm happy about it, but a lot can change in 3 months.

You get some bad economic news, and Republicans will spin it for all it's worth. Kamala has shown signs of being more comfortable campaigning, but if she reverts to 2020 form in a debate, that will hurt.

Political trends can look great until they aren't, like in footy (I'm a Swans fan...).

She has made the mistake trump has by trying to appeal to the base rather then grab the centre which trump freed up for her to take. And she doesnt take them. And then the base lead protests against her two days later anyway.
They are hoping the centre is populated by more people with a brain than MAGA weirdo types. A gamble I know!;)

Yep. Great signs so far, but there's a lot of water to go under the bridge.
