Will they even make the finals? A woeful effort today, they've been thrashed by a bottom 8 side. What is it with their round 18 finals chokes?

We play 2 more games against Collingwood and Carlton which could take us to 12 wins.

Although at the moment we couldnt beat anyone, so no.

Or alternatively they are being thrashed by the reigning premier who have been underperforming but are coming up with the goods with their backs against the wall.

Ha, no that is what happened in round 7. This time around it is because for whatever reason the players simply dont care.

Mate, we lose this and our season is over. Sounds a fair motivator, and Port look to be playing pretty motivated footy.

If we lose to Geelong I will. I like the Kangas and it's a bit concerning when they play like this.

And Pred, so it's taken 18 weeks for the reigning premier to start playing well?

This game reminds me of the Port v St Kilda game at Aurora. Both played at grassroots style, neutral venues, big lead at half time to Port, and a bit of a comeback sparked against the old slow Power.

I remember several occasions where they were written off at some time in the match only to bob up and win it.
