Few big games this weekend. Finals race is on, my tips for the weekend

Ardmona vs Avenel Both sdes playing for pride, Avenel 100+

Gig vs Nagaz The lakers easily, 150+

Lanky vs Tally Lanky easily also, 75

Merrigum vs Undera I think mez will push Undera till 3/4 time Lions to win by 4 goals

Rushy vs Murch Murch need to win, and probably will. Hoppers by 6 goals

Stanny vs VT Tight game this one, VT need to win by a fair margin to gain a finals berth, but i think Stanny might have em at home, Lions by 30 points

Ardy v avenel (70pts)
Gig v Naggaz (180pts)
Lanky v Tally (90pts)
Merrigum v Undera (46pts)
Rushy v Murch (1pt) - Rushy to sneak home and leave Murch very worried about result of our match
Stanny v VT (1pt) - Goal for goal all day with a kick in the dying moments to get us home and then find out we knocked Murch out and snuck into the 5...

Yeah, we'd love another week or 2 yet but then on the other hand having Friday nights back a week or 2 earlier isn't such a bad thing either...
Your in the box seat though, we need both matches to fall our way where you only need the one....
Should be a cracker of a last round from both our points of view anyway

I hope you're right, all we have to do is win and we're set - would rather not have to worry about the result of your game. It's good that there are a few different outcomes left going into the last round though..hopefully it will be a good finals series with some close games or an upset or two.

Lanky v Tally: Lanky in a tight 1 10pts
Gum v Undera: Undera by 30pts
Rushy v Murch: Murch by 6goals

Scott Paulke won Nagambie's B&F yesterday with Mick Shiels the runner up.

Anyone else had their B&Fcounts?

Good result for him.:thumbsu: How did top 5 look and what votes did they finish on?

Should get a good feeling on other clubs upcoming results after the league medal tonight. Actually, after some of the umpiring this year...maybe not!!;)

Willy Sanders won the Tally B & F saturday night. Was a great effort by him, just gets better with age.
Jim Cullum and Adam Waasdorp rounded out the top 3 not sure in what order things were a little fuzzy late in the night.

does anyone know if the league will be posting all votes on any website? Im fairly sure they did last year, it had every single player and how many vote they each got.. wouldnt mind having a little look.

i am hoping they do as well it would be interesting to have a look
who won the rookie
I think they said last night that they were going to announce the rookie of the year on the league presentation night. They showed about 6 or 7 rookie of the year nominations on the big screen last night but i'm sure they didn't mention a winner

Realistically only 2 players are in the running...
Brenton Campbell from Undera has had a super year across half back. Very smart footballer n very strong mark overhead.
Also, Jim Cullum from Tally. Been a standout both times we've played them. Super quick and tough around contests...
Just my thoughts, anyone else think somone can top these 2...?

what about Ash Hobbs from V.T that has kicked over 50 goals this year, or even Ant Haysom from Nagambie that has been ripping up the comp in the second half of the year.
