He sure does. And a whole league of supporters, officials and players who will be glad to see the back of him. :thumbsu:

Looks like Tally are loaded up. Could they be Premiership favourites already?

Peter Ralph looked pretty underdone when I saw him last, but if he puts in a solid preseason he'll go very, very well out at Tally. They'd have to be early premiership favourites, but I still reckon Stanhope won't lose as many as people think. Goodbody, Wishart, Haw..? Don't reckon Trist, Hansford or Hoota will be going anywhere.

Heard that VT have lost Daniel Cope, who is heading OS for 12 months. Also know that he was on $350 a game last week, so the towners obviously have a bit of $ floating about. Must be offering Wes Stott about $800 if they reckon Cope was worth $350!

U are kiding urself T.Perry.. copey was on no where near as much as that, dont think have that much money to throw round. dont no wes personally but seen him play and heard alot about him and not only do we not have that sort of money, i dont believe he would ask for half that amount, from my knowledge is a friend of trots which is a major reason for his move

Just two months after guiding Ardmona to the Kyabram District Football League premiership, Brian Simpkin has quit as coach of the Cats.

Simpkin's replacement is premiership wingman Clinton Brereton, who joined the club this year after stints with Mooroopna, Shepparton Swans and Cobram, and is looking forward to the new role.

"It's a challenge backing up and winning two in a row," Brereton said.

"It's going to be pretty tough."

The 32-year-old is expecting minimal change to the playing list, with Joe De Angelis, who is coaching Picola District Football League club Strathmerton, the only confirmed departure.

However, Brereton also expects to be without star Brad Lowe for Ardmona's assault on another premiership.

"I think he's going for different opportunities," Brereton said.

In good news for the Cats though, evergreen spearhead Perry Meka looks set to continue his illustrious career.

Cats president Rob Waters welcomed the appointment of Brereton as a positive move by the club.

"He's got a few good ideas," Waters said.

"He's also got a pretty good head for football."

yeah, chee can play.. got a f.u.c.k load of talent, goes in as tough as nails, and got plenty of campaigner about him.. no idea why he hasnt been selected in the bushies, but all i know is that calder want him.. na he doesnt have family and travel to and from, just luck of the draw and has been seen by calder..

Trist and Hansford both training at Ky tonight so think they are pretty serious about having a crack at Major League Tav. Believe Trist has told Lions he wont be there next year even. No idea on the others.

that it is Rowey, no less than a dozen people have spoken to me about Umpire Hughes' effort in the GF including players and supporters from other KDFL clubs not involved in the GF, GV umpires and even a AFL regional manager who believed it was that blatant at half time he started to take a tally of the free kicks, 12 to 1 Ardys way was his count for last half. Its all over now and yes they have got medals around their neck and I suppose Ardy cant control what the umpires do, but hey 98% of people at the game could see that there was something very wrong out there.

Yer I heard that were going to put Hughesy on the spit for that Umpie's show they have in October but they thought there would be too much crackle on the fat arse!!.

Ardy wont be Stanhopes problem, Tally, Violet Town and Rushy will be the main contenders. Don't forget Stanhope did win premierships not that long ago, 2000 & 2003.
