Ken Hinkley and PAFC get in early with the excuses for failing in 2016...

So the PAFC 'saviour' supercoach Ken is already going into damage control mode early on about how unfair it is that Essendon will have 43 listed players whereas they will only have 42..

Apparently this could be the 'make or break' difference to PAFC and their flag chances this year. Surely he's not worried, it's not like he's expecting a 'completely unheard of run of soft tissue injuries' that could force the PAFC to play all 42 of it's players to the point they actually need 43 are they?

What's really bothering old mate Ken I wonder, really, or is this just him preparing the PAFC faithful with the ready-made excuse of 'well their list isn't as big/good/injured/banned as ours is!'

Poor old Ken. It's his last year at PAFC and he knows it. :thumbsu:

Should give Essendon 119 players just for lulz.
Probably still wouldn't win the game but it would be funny.

Ken take a lesson from Alan Richardson and STFU and focus on the team.

That's exactly what he's doing, trying to get the best result for the club and that would be top up players.

If you guys want to roll over, go ahead.

Actually we've asked for all clubs affected by the Essendon drugs saga to be considered for top up players.

PAFC doing all the heavy lifting once again, usually it's for footy in SA, now it seems we have to help minnows across the border too.

Asking for a bail out is actually the exact opposite of the 'heavy lifting' required to take responsibility for your own decisions.

When you're as accustomed to grovelling as Port has become, I guess it can feel like steely resolve sometimes.

It's not.

Ken asks for an extra player and if the AFL doesn't bend over then Kochie starts telling Sunrise viewers to stop watching non-Port AFL games. The AFL will shit itself and gives Port everything it wants.

That's what powerful AFL clubs do.

Maybe we should help the Crows by getting the AFL to let them add an additional player to their list because they recruited Doodee

Wouldn't be the first time you've told a sponsor to go **** themselves... but all of them at once?

Have you ever thought of supporting a powerful AFL club?

If you want to start may i suggest Port Adelaide. Afterall we are SA's premier sporting organization.

Lulz.

Shawt, you're dribbling again.

Seriously, I am sure your sponsors will be totally stoked when the President calls for supporters to turn off the TV's and piss on their investment in the club.

Quality suggestion coming out of beggar town.
