I haven't been the biggest fan of Knights posters throughout the years, but these are the best he's ever done. It's a shame one won't see the light of day.

There is just something about a Weg that these don't match unfortunately. Love Knights work... he is an outstanding cartoonist, but simple characters and line art just suits these posters.

His Serena Williams cartoon depicting her looking like a Jim Crow caricature, his gangs cartoon depicting them all as black, and a cartoon about Australia Day saying something along the lines of 'if the Aboriginals had of put up a fight like this in 1788 we might not bloody well be here celebrating Australia Day'

He's Murdoch trash and not at all funny

I can't comment on the other things, but a cartoonist depicting someone as a caricature is not racist. It's literally what a cartoonist does.

Have you seen it? You can do a caricature of a tennis player without going to racist tropes. Unless of course the person's race is the point of the joke?

Yeah, I've seen it. Williams disgraced herself and the cartoon showed her chucking a tanty, which was the actual point. Spare me the 'racist tropes' BS.

I don't like Williams, but that cartoon, and particularly his Aboriginal cartoon were awful. Knight is an unfunny dud

Never forget that in the last couple years of Weg's life, some lowlife broke into his house in Heathmont, attacked him and stole his grandkid's bike... Weg sketched him for the cops and he was picked up a couple hours later.
