Part of Tippett's statement after the judgement;
So a presumably negotiated settlement that resulted in a 6 month suspension and a $50k fine, but he doesn't admit liability and had "valid defences".
Nothing I read about this bloke fills me confidence, he appears totally unwilling to accept responsibility for his actions.
He signed the off contract agreement, he agreed to the underwriting deal, he signed the stat dec that the contract lodged with the AFL covered the full scope of his financial arrangements with Adelaide, he was 22 years old when he undertook those actions.
Even today, 3 years later, he wants to blame someone else.
Adelaide, their employees, Tippett and his manager Blucher, all deserve to be held to account.
My concern is that we will likely employ one of them as from next season and make him one of the highest paid players in the competition.
Aren't you the idiot moderator that made a rule on the Adelaide board stating that any posters making unreasonable offers for the Tippett trade will be red carded? Seriously mate, I dunno what kind of sheltered life you live, but do you realize that any trade offer made on bigfooty from any of our posters, or any posters on bigfooty for that matter, well, kinda, sorta, umm..., aren't actually real?
Well what about your tools that have come on here with shit champI don't think of myself as an idiot, no. Yes, I am aware that we have no say in what actually happens on the trade table.
The rule was specifically set up to prevent a repeat of the last two trade periods where we first had Carlton supporters offering absurd trade suggestions for Jacobs (Dangerfield + our first round pick), and then last year Hawthorn supporters offering us pick 40+ for Gunston. It always has the same result, regardless of which clubs or players are involved. The fans get annoyed after the first few ridiculous suggestions and start getting narky, snapping even at people who are posting reasonable suggestions, and in turn those posters get upset back and it soon spirals out of control.
We decided to nip it in the bud early this year. Swan supporters who made reasonable suggestions (and there were plenty) were given free reign by the moderating team.
yeah, explain yourself chump..Well what about your tools that have come on here with shit champ

Just ignore and report any posts you have problems with. Mods are free to do what they want with their boards but I want this to be a very relaxed board, so I'm not handing out cards everywhere. Easy to just delete posts and move on.
Thread can remain open for now, but it's probably best if we just start a new thread and make a rule that it's for Swans posters only perhaps? Adelaide's part in the Tippett saga is probably over now anyway. Now it's just about who picks him in the PS draft.
, when you get a goose like button why was just relentless with crap. I like your idea of a thread moving on from Adeliade Tippett to the future, but maybe wait for the PSD and then we will know whether he's a Swanexactly, but sick of pms and complaints.
Personally I think some of our posters just need to just stop screaming troll or just ignore.

I just wanted to have one final post on this thread now that Adelaides part is done. To you all you Sydney supporters that have that have been there with me over the journey, insulted me, replied to my posts and engaged in heated discussion I thank you for the emotional Rollercoaster! All the best for the 2013 season! Button92 out!
