Girgarre just posted that Lancaster have pulled out of their practice game due to low numbers? Is that just because of the long weekend? Anyone aware of numbers and depth at Lancaster for this season?

Surly u could fill one side for 4 quarters. Pretty sure some juniors woulda put there hand up to play.

Dosent help when the coach texts the players on wednsday (3 days before match) asking if they wanna play and who's available. Not well organised out dim bat land haha

just to put you in the picture godfather the first mistake was setting the game on a long weekend still thinking we would have enough players it just didn't turn out that way with only 20 players 4 of those seniors only !because of cricket and players going away the coach thought that calling the game off was the right thing Sounds like you're a gig player but mate don't bag lanky for being unorganised just worry about your own club gig or whoever

Only my view. 1. why accept a practice match on a long weekend then. 2. If true surely Wednesday is a bit late to be chasing players up. 3. What about all the Gig players that gave up plans of a long weekend only to get stuffed around late Thursday night. POOR POOR form from Lanky

By all accounts girgarre have enough to field two sides, and who are obviously dedicated to their football this season

The Hoppers just completed a good hit out again Bonnie Doon.

It was disappointing to see former KDL champion, Daniel Godsmark go down with a suspected broken arm in the first contest. Hopefully he gets the all clear.

MTFNC ran out winners in the end. Adding to a good run against Yarroweyah last week.
