That's the rumour and it is terrible to see regardless of whether you like or dislike a club.
They have just been hanging on roar Went there Saturday hoping to see some positives but was disappointed in what I saw got there just when a Lancaster 3rds player was headlock by an ardy spectator It was just disappointing to see just a couple of ardy die hards running the whole show it was just a mess They can't continue they need 25 to 30 players they have little coin sponsors and helpers I'm not being negative just a realist

Not sure Roar , did hear that it was going to be more then one team gone from the Kdfnl next year , unsure if they are folding or going to another league.
It's is a sad situation but cannot see Ardmona surviving "they haven't been

spot on swoop sadly cannot see them surviving , I know poor old sharpy is trying hard to keep them going ,but I think the end is near "they haven't been competitive in reserves at all ,they have no support,no money no players that could possibly get them up to senior level again next year .credit to the handful of people who have tried. To keep the club afloat.

The workload becomes too much so people start droppping off, which increases the workload on those left.
The increasing in staffing needs to be at club level not the AFL Melbourne head office , whilst the work load at club level needs to be reduced not increased as is continually happening.

Coz they are able to appeal and be reinstated if the exceed 16 weeks. This has occurred on numerous occasions. This sends the strongest possible message
There is a bit more to it than just appeal and get re-instated. The panel also consider the charge history and what they have done to rehabilitate.
The league they go to also has the right to reject them.

Blokes with massive rap sheets, who have committed terrible actions have been reinstated. If Aaron James could be banned and then reinstated then most blokes can be

But that's somewhat my point Roota.

Bloke gets king hit and breaks his jaw.
Didn't see it coming so no chance to defend himself.
Gets taken to hospital most likely with concussion.
Has jaw wired , misses work,
Eats through a straw for 5 weeks .
10-12 weeks out of playing footy and high chance of brain injury through the concussion which can have long term effects.
Headaches for 2-3 weeks .
charged player gets - 6-8 weeks

Umpire touches someone , no case to answer and they'll refuse to umpire if anyone tries to investigate it.

Player touches a umpire , game is called off and player gets 15 years.

I don't condone any of it , but the penalty seems way out of proportion.

IIRC Greg Williams got 12 .

well done to the kdfl tribunal for their outcome on the s

well done to the kdfl tribunal on the sentence handed out to the rushworth player' no one likes to see theses actions on the field.
umpires should never be touched. no matter what. 15 year penalty will give him plenty of time to reflect on his actions.
what i dont understand,is how two players in the picola football league get red carded and reported and the umpires there
bungle the report, and both players get let off.even though the katandra coach sam ahmet ends up with a broken jaw.
also roar could please explain a couple of weeks ago .im hearing a thirds umpire was pushed and the thirds player was
given a 6 week suspended sentence. and played the next week.whats the differance between the two incidents . reckon
15 years good result by the kdfl

If you are referring to Saturday's match involving Sam , I think you'll find that clubs have 5 days to seek an investigation if they believe a incident warrants an investigation , so you might be putting the cart before the horse .
Please explain where the consistency is in.
king hit ,broken jaw 6 weeks
Umpire touches a player ( no action / untouchable )
Player touches a umpire 15 years.

Player touches a umpire 15 years only problem you are missing is that rushworth player verbally abused the umpire'and then knocked him over
on his back. with both hands and then continually abused the umpire while he was on his back.while the umpire continues to recover from the
attack. thats not touching big differance. fact and you havnt answerd the question about the thirds player and his suspended sentence. and arnt you responsible for the tribunal in your comp roar ?

So he got 14 years and 6 matches more than Greg Williams for abusing the umpire and because, the umpire fell over as a result of the push?
It would appear not uncommon elsewhere including the AFL for umpire abuse to be 2 weeks and contact forcing the umpire to fall over to be 2-4 weeks.
If what was described in the shepp news is correct what the hell was the umpire doing approaching the player ?
Oh and I have never sat on a tribunal far less chaired one.
But please do tell the whole story.
Was it from a report, is a party filthy on the outcome ?
