Lancaster to get over Rushy fairly easily, and leave Ozzy on 99.
VT to topple the gum by 100+
Murch a 60+ point win over Undera,
Nagambie by 150 over Longy,
And the big one to decide who plays Lancy at Undera or Avenel at home. I'm going to go with Stanhope by 4 goals. Tally boys have a bit of an attitude problem on the field when challenged.
have tally won many big games against the top sides ?

Easily exposed down back, lacking a couple key position players. Great midfield, okay forwards. Just lack down back. I can't see them winning it, but then again it's been a funny year, anyone in that top 5 is a chance.
yes true ultra it is wide open'do you think violet town are the best of the lot though they seem to have most areas covered.

Heard a whisper that rushy may have added an extra goal to osbourne last week to help him get to 100

Yeah with the inclusion of Trotter at half back has straightened them right up, and good form from second tier mids like Morrison. Injury clouds over the Horsburgh brothers could play a big part in how far they go. The healthiest list will win it this year I think.

Gave stanny a touch up.. I think nagaz are in a good position to win it.. will have a full list first final and know how to win when it counts.. at 3.50 on Sportsbet I will be loading up..

I agree Normo, Nagambie have runs on the board I guess you could say. Rattray has been massive for them since returning.

Might have a pineapple for fun if the Leggers get through to the Prelim which is at Tally the door could burst open.
They lost to Nagambie twice by under 10 points, lost to Avenel last week by 2 points, accounted for Stanhope comfortably, think they might have close to the best for and against in the league, I'd say they're
as good a chance as any.

Swannies smacked them by 70 in round 5. As we have said it's open to anyone who takes their chances.

Since the top 6 came in in 2013.. no one has won it from outside the top 2.. stanny made it twice from 3rd but dam hard to win 4 games in a row to win it..

If Ardmona go Id like too see it return to a 5. The VFL for many years was a 12 team comp wuth a top 5 abd it worked well. It rewards all accordingly with top going straight into the 2nd semi 2nd and 3rd rightly have a double chance and 4th and 5th try to advance cut throat. The top 6 over rewards 2nd and savagely penalises 3rd having to win all 4 finals to win a flag. 6th may never win a flag so you might as well have the best finals system in place instead of giving someone a finals berth who has been mediocre through the Season.

Apparently, would have made for much better excitement if his 28 goals didn't count as he would currently be 4 goals behind staff with a game left

In 2012 Craig Whelan bagged 89 of his 168 goals against the bottom five teams, including 34 against a winless Ardmona which finished the season with a percentage of 7.73. I don't recall any "clarifying" of his result. In the end you have to get the ball and slot it between the tall uprights to score a goal, regardless of the opposition. If Osborne bags 100 then good luck to him, particularly when his team is at the bottom end of the table. Maybe that is what is wrong with this league, the big money goes out to self promoters and the rest just stump up because it's a great game.

I'd like to see the GVFL final 6 which at least gives the third team a double chance if they win in week one. It's still flawed but that "mediocre" sixth team can still cause enormous damage and keep a side in third place honest in a competition such as the KDFL.

It worked really well with a final four for almost eighty years. The final five was a way to extract extra dollars with the advent of improved television coverage and those lucrative dollars that, even now, just don't seem to filter down.

Good to see you back Woody !Spot on with ossie even tho he may reach his ton against lancy I personally hope he does as long as we win!! Like you said he still has to get the ball then slot it Top bloke and I'm sure his team mates down the ground will go out of their way to see the big fella kick his ton

I agree that he has kicked them, but to the post about a rushy nut 'adding on an extra goal to get him there' is a bit silly. I don't think Ozzy would appreciate that himself. Would want to kick them legitimately
