I thought it was 3 if you are a current player, but if new to the club is 6? that’s what I remember it being.

Normo was spot on mate if player is cleared before Rd 1 its a 3 game qualification or after rd1 its 6 weeks

Correct. It makes it very hard to qualify a possible VFL player or a June 30 pick up.

After another look at the footy mag id have to agree. Murch have picked up some guys from Euroa that have a fair bit of senior footy under their belt so that should be a positive.

Yep. Being 6 years old at the time, my memories of 1987 aren’t great. I do remember celebrating Lanky’s 1988 win over Murchison a bit more. Bit ironic now!
