While there has been a lot of rumour mongering about Girgarre on here this season, ultimately it was one of the times it was true that stands out.

On April fools day (of all days!) someone posted on here that Jodie Canavan had left the club on the seasons eve - turned out to be true!

Only one comment. The mark by Chris Sanders would have to be the best mark that i have seen in any game of football, local or AFL. It was a pearler.

lancy won by 14 points. and the kernel takes them week in week out but that was the best i have ever seen, the bloke is an absaloute freek

JOBBAY!!!! dont worrie 2 much about ardy they will turn it around mate!!
It was a pumping no doubt but they were missing youngy and rach in the middle and our 2nd ruckman and also a few key injurys

We have Lancy again so it will be a test for the boys to turn it back around this week to have another crack at the umpires and league favs STANHOPE....

I was at the game on the weekend and the umpiring was the worst 1 sided affair i have seen in the league this year!!!! im not tacking it away from Stanhope they were the better team on the day BUT THEY HAD 3 EXTRA players on the day....

How very true. The umpires were not putting up with any crap. They were consistent for the day. Ardmona just happen to be the dirtiest team going around thats why they were getting pulled up by the umpires. Ardmona need to have a look at the way they approach the game. How's Perry's form, kneeling on the ground yelling out cheats to the umpires. Hes all class isnt he!!
